  Very nice place the staff are so polite and the service is really great but the menu seems to have lost its wow factor a little, but all in all would recommend as a good eatery

  Well.. A lovely looking place! However went on a Sunday afternoon for a lush roast dinner. Never happened! My other half ordered roast beef with all the trimmings, I ordered half a chicken roast with all the trimmings. We both mentioned with liked extra gravy and was prepared to pay for it. Our dinner arrived with NO gravy!! naturally we asked for gravy.... we waited 15 minutes.. (Out food was not hot to start with, so now really cold)! then when they gave us the gravy.. it was in something that looked like a egg cup! (FFS) !! So we asked for another.. It came quickly to be fair and it was only the hot gravy that heated the luke warm food up! If I have to be honest.. The place looks nice, staff (5 out of 10) food Terrible! My other half had roast beef.. ended up with roast gristle! I ordered Half a roast chicken.. ended up with 2 roast chicken legs laden with garlic!! Garlic!! On a roast dinner?? Veg.. Microwaved rubbish!!

  We went for mothers day and it was very busy and we had not booked but ben was great and found us a table in 20mintutes and the food was outstanding and the service of Ben and his staff was great and Ben took his time to talk to the customers and he went out of his way to find my little one his favourite biscuits as he did not want pudding a great family friendly pub
